It sure does look like that's what might have happen.
I sure hope the rider/riders are OK and can tell what happened.

It also mentions 4 vehicles, which I only noticed 2 ... Makes a lot of scenario's if that's the case... was it an action or a re-action..

it was not a conclusion, just a thought. You hear about people going into limp mode at high speed and they all fear being run over.
I too hope everyone was OK.

:shocked: That was quite a shot... It tells me that the closing speed was pretty darn high... Too high for the Spyder to simply have changed lanes in front of the cage and been overtaken.
Either the RTS had to stop or slow down drastically for an occurence in front of them, or there was a catastrophic failure in the mechanicals...

I was searching this morning to see if there was any update to this accident and I found this about a fatality earlier this month in Houston http://www.houstontx.gov/police/nr/2012/apr/nr040212-4.htm This guy was definitely at fault and out of control.

I, too, hope everyone is okay.
We just a two SUV's wreck here in Dayton, One SUV doing 65 was knocked off the road and into a bridge abutment. Second SUV was estimated to be doing close to a hundred.

so far all I can find is that there was an incident April 10, 2012 on HWY 288 involving 4 vehicles and no reported injuries at this time....the good news is...if it had fatal injuries the media would be all over it...and almost no media....I'll kep looking.....SpyderAnn..the site yo posted will update in the next few days..hopefully we'll find something then.....hope all is well with all involved...
