• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RT front fender vs. shop maintenance question

Howdy.

I have two issues on my RT.

1. I want to take my front fender to the body shop Tuesday.

2. My dealer is towing my RT to the his shop Tuesday to replace the throttle body.

Here's my question....will having the fender off leave any parts hanging which will interfere with the dealer operating the bike after repairs are made? If so, I will have the body work done later.

Although having the fenders off will not directly affect throttle body replacement, it will leave the wires hanging and subject to damage during towing and moving around in the shop. It would also make road testing impossible. I'd hold off on the body work. JMHO

fenders off

just need to make sure the light from the fenders are zip tied away

I rode like this a few days looks neat

There should be no issues. Two bolts to remove the fender and unplug the connector for the lights.
