RT Jack Points

I have a floor jack or a narrow pallet jack to pick from at the moment. I can see a 4 wheeler jack in my future but for now I want to set the preload on the front shock springs. Where do you put the floor jack to get the front end off the ground? Or would I be better off just using my pallet jack and some dunnage to lift the whole bike up a few inches?

Thanks I need to get one of those jacks for sure... good thing Doc posted a photo of how he used a floor jack.

If you take a look up under it's belly; you can see that it's pretty flat; There IS a small hump... Try lifting from just in front of that. :thumbup:

I tried the floor jack with some 3/4" plywood but the jack wouldn't even fit under the bike with the round thingy off. So I jumped on, started it up and hit the up button. That raised the rear just enough to get the jack with a rag over it under and I lifted it up enough to change the preload on the shock springs.

I need to check into the 4 wheeler jack...
