• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My screen will flicker or turn a purple color sometimes, just seems to be very random ,then back to normal.

Just a guess....

LCD screens do not like to be left in the hot sun. It can cause all kinds of problems until it can cool off.

Just a guess and not saying this is your problem. You might have a bad cluster.

Mine does that when I park in the sun. I've learned to pull out the safety card to shade the screen when I park.

Finally, a good use for the safety card :dg2:

:D That's where I keep "Miss July"...
Seriously; is this problem occurring when the bike has been parked out in direct sunlight, and the heat of the day? :dontknow:
If not; you've got something else going on... I might suggest that you check for a loose connection to the screen...

Agree..!!

with the safety card coverup. I often pull it even when ryding with the sun to my back. Depending on when and how often you may need to reconnect the cluster plug for solid contact. Now if nothing changes like clock setting you are not loosing power or not long enough. Let us know what you find....
