• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Screwed up something

Screwed up something?

Mercerlake hit it on the head along with Chupaca. I had either fried the battery or it was time to die. :banghead::banghead:

New battery, all is well, other than now back to installing the LEDs. Will post the results over in the Mod's threads. Thanks for all of the help and suggestions. Like most of you guys that do your own even the screw ups you learn something which is always valuable. If not for you one of us.

:yes::yes::yes::yes: Success is really sweet!:thumbup: Super glad that all is well! Batteries are kind of like if the battery isn't happy nothing is happy. These bikes/trikes are electronic marvels and don't work well if at all without the proper voltage under a load. Loose corroded connections are the next big stumbling block to happy motoring. A quick check of the battery health can be done by measuring the unloaded voltage (should be nominal 12.6V or greater) now turn on the headlights if the voltage drops below 11.5 V or less then it needs charging at the proper rate typically <2 Amps on a motorcycle battery. If the voltage is less than 10V under a load then head for the battery shop.
