• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anybody know how I can repair a small tear in my seat before it gets larger ??? Thanks

Depending on where the tear is, I think a spot repair has a varying chance of success. Maybe you can find a replacement seat cover or buy one of the BRP upgrade covers for the stock seat. Or take it to someplace that works with vinyl extensively (like a boat cover shop or an auto upholstery shop) to see what they can do for it.

If you want to fix it yourself you can but it will never disappear only stop from getting bigger. Auto parts store sell a vinyl repair kit with a liquid material that hardens up. You just paint it on (follow instructions) and it will fill the tear. Good news it's cheap and the tear will most likely stop right there. The bad news you will always see it every single day and as time goes by it will get harder than the seat material.
What I would do would be to go to a boat shop and see who they use for repairs and get a better tougher seat cover made. This would also be a good time to either add or subtract foam or add some seat gel. silver lining out of the clouds time.

Oldandgrouchy has the answer, as far as I can see.

If you had someone come out and do "invisible vinyl repair" this is what they would use.

Less expensive than a new seat.

If you are into perfect--put duct tape (the working mans friend) under the cut (sticky side up--a hard manuver) and over the cut--sticky side down. This will prevent the tear from growing--then get a seat cover to put over the whole thing.

Hope you find this information helpful.
