• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. She Made Me Do It!

:shemademe_smilie: Honest! Yesterday we rode the Rouge Rocket at the VMBC scooter show in Portland, IN. This is primarly a huge swap meet, rides, and a general gathering of folks that like scooters, motorbikes, and tiddlers. We never miss it.

Nancy had been thinking of letting me take my Spyder to Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid-Ohio next week, but needed a pit bike for herself. I was going to get her 68 Honda Trail 90 running, but I didn't know if I had a carb kit. She said she wanted me to get the Super Cub out in the garage ready for next year, if I could. While we were at the scooter show, we came across an original, unrestored 1964 Honda CA100 Super Cub at a reasonable price. Nancy insisted, and we made the deal for #26. We drove to Dayton and picked it up today. I know, I promised not to bring any more home, but this one really and truly was her fault. It is hers, lock stock and barrel.Needs a battery to make the lights work well, but it is ready to go. Looks like we have a new pit bike.

For those that aren't familiar with the Honda Super Cub, it was introduced in 1958, and with over 60 million manufactured, it is the largest selling motor vehicle in history. This is the original "You Meet The Nicest People On A Honda" motorcycle. It is also the subject of the famous song by the Hondells...Little Honda.

:2thumbs: its so cute and Nancy looks great on it. You know some people bring home stray animals you bring home old motorbikes.

Nice catch! :congrats::2thumbs: Those little Hondas introduced North America to the idea that travel on 2 wheels could be fun!

...and I'm jealous as all get-out now! Do you have one for sale???????

Hey, Nancy's not old!
It's the mileage! :roflblack:

Correction...the Honda turned out to be a 1962, titled in 1964. I looked up the serial number this morning. It will be 50 years old next year! Who would have thought the little Hondas of the commercials would turn 50 and still be rolling along?

Wow... that bike looks to be in really great shape for not being restored. I remember seeing a lot of these in the 60's.

Yup, how could you leave that one behind? Great little pit vehicle. And thanks for the video - wow, did that ever bring back memories.
