I do a couple of Grand Tours a year. Gives me some places to go, plus you get to see neat places. Here's a couple for the road.

That is the Norwich State Hospital in Norwich / Preston Ct. On the National Register of Historic Places. Abandoned by the state. It opened its doors in October 1904, and though the number of patients and employees were drastically reduced, it remained operational until October 10, 1996

Grand Tours are a lot of fun. I am doing one put on by the Team Strange Airheads. This years is It's a Strange Election, There is a local and a Long distance option. Get pictures of you, your bike and the placard in front of as many county court houses as you can. You have 2 placards one red one blue and you use the one corresponding to the party you think will take that county. By the end I will have been to

every county in Utah.

I'd never heard of GLMC Grand Tour until you posted it. Is it too late to sign up? One of the sites is in my town.

Not too late to sign up. Plenty of time, it runs from April 1 to Sept 30. http://www.glmc.org/grand_tour.php. The first year I did this I signed up in June.

That is Rhode Island Capitol Building. Won't be making it as far as Utah this year, but when we do it would be great to meet up with ya.
