• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Something's Not Quite Right...

The Top Trunk on my RT isn't latching. :yikes:
I had the rear panels off of it, so that I could install the rear side marker LEDs.
I have tried using a loop of metal to try and get the latches to lock up, but they don't; I have to guess that the latching mechanism is left in the "unlatching" position...
What could I have inadvertently loosened, broken, or loused-up to cause this? :dontknow:

i had the same problem. look at all the tabs that lock the plastics together and make sure they are all in place, that's what my problem was

SAME PROBLEM

I think this is common. There really isn't any adjustment in the positioning available.....After it happened to me I left it slightly loose ( the bolts) and got it to latch....Then tightened it all the way......that worked ........Mike

On the rear fascia there is a very small tab in the center right where the lock is. If that tab is not in it's slot, the trunk lid will not close.
