• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Speedometer Question?

Hello, new Spider Roadster owner here.
2008 Spyder Roadster GS sm5 with 12k miles.
Have had it for around 3 weeks. So far I like it really well. Getting used to how it drives.
* One problem I've found is the speedometer does not go back down to 0 when I'm stopped. it stops ar around 40 to 45 mph. When I drive the meter moves up the dial but it's always around 40 mph to high.
* Has anyone know how to re-zero the speedometer?
Thanks for any help here. John aka TeddyBear

:congrats::welcome: Wish I could help you on that, I'm not familiar with that yr, does it have the combo dash digital & analog? & they both stick :gaah: Have you tried reverse, just to see if it moves?? :congrats: On avoiding tickets but please be safe & find a fix:p

 There's just no "fix" for that...
The needle is sticking. If you can get the glass off of the face of the dial; you might be able to free it up...
But I'm not sure of the practicality of that idea... :opps:
