• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

At the Boji Bike Rally. My Spyder would not start at the end of the first day. Seems to be a dead battery. I tried to get everything off to check the battery, but one of the saddle bag support bolts would not budge. Used AMA road service to have it towed home. Today I went to the dealer who services the bike and picked up a trailer to haul it in. Got it dropped off and they will check it out and replace the battery.
2009 RS SE5 with 25,000+ miles. They will have it ready in a few days, unless they run into something besides the battery.

Bummer. Hope it's not too far away. What is Boji?

It sounds a lot like it is the battery--if yours contains the original. Seven plus years is a pretty good run.:bowdown:

Bike in shop

I was only about 5 miles from home. I was helping out at the rally. I photograph the events for the chamber of commerce.

Great dealer service

Shout out to Jacox Powersports, in Worthington, MN. They had a trailer for me to use to get the Spyder to their shop, no charge. Dropped the bike off on Tuesday, picked it up Thursday, with a new battery. Great service and very friendly dealer. When I take the Spyder in for service, they offer a ride on their demo bike, while they service mine. I can see why they are a Platinum dealer.
