• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder Magazine??

Every article ever written about a Spyder will show up with its link on this site. Also vendor products for Spyders from are sponsors are here foremost, and everyone else who makes Spyder product will again show up here as a link most likely.. With this type of real time access and the current size of our base it doesn't seem likely that any magazines or other hard copy documents will be available for awhile except those direct from BRP. I sure haven't seen any, but of course Lamont would be the ultimate authority since it seems like he peruses everything in the biker world....

There are some good blogs (see the list on this forum), but a 'zine????? We're lucky to see an article in one.... Catalogs? Drool over Kury's latest, or the on-line versions from our supporters, listed on the home page.

BRP does have a catalog, if you're looking for another way to re-distribute your wealth.... :D

The best is this site. Anything reccomended or indorsed on here is from the heart not what it will put in their wallet. The sponsors are endorsed by us by our postings. This is The Spyderhood.

No magazine as of yet. There have been write-ups good and bad in most of the motorcycle magazines. Rider, Cycle World, Motorcycle Consumer Reports, and J & P Cycle catalog (this one was pretty much of a joke). The re-tests and thorough testing, produced some good write ups.

No touring articles on the Spyder only--someone should submit a story to Rider magazine. I was going to submit our trip to Whitehorse, Yukon territory and Skagway--but put it on the back burner for a couple of months. One of the touring groups made a similar trip--and that article was printed about a month later. So much for procrastination. Alaska has been done--they would say--but there is some nice stuff in the lower 48 that someone could write about.
