Checking my drive belt alignment today and everything looked good......tension and position were dead on!Happened to run my finger on inside belt tread surface and felt a depressed pot mark on every tread at exact same spot.Inspected sprocket and found a B-B size pebble had cold welded itself into a sprocket valley groove and was cupping a pocket into the drive belt.:yikes
ue to budget cut backs a lot of roads that were scheduled for asphalt overlay are now getting tar and chip.Might want to check your inside belt tread if your rides are subject to lots of loose gravel!!
