• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

He reminds me of the grizzled old guy I met once on Mt Evans. We were leaving the cafe and here's this guy dressed in a beat up leather jacket, beside an equally old HD panhead. The bike showed years and miles of road patina, he had his bedroll and bags strapped to the bike. It was befitting is appearance. Come to find out he had ridden out from Vermont, and had decided to head west after Sturgis, and didn't know where he'd end up - didn't care either. This was a guy who "gets it". He didn't care about chrome and farkles, wasn't impressed by talk of big-inch motors and loud pipes, and didn't care if you rode a HD or metric or sport bike. To him, the road was it, freedom, seeing the country and talking to people.

Talked to a guy last Saturday at an annual charity ride. He was riding a Dyna Wide Glide. He was 77 years old and started riding when he was 68. He said when he gets old he might consider a Spyder. By the way, there were 900 bikes at that ride.
