• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer Hitch Removal

I have to go to S Texas for a month on a job, which means i'm going to miss the Cuba bash - darn it. So anyway im pulling down a gooseneck flatbed trailer and decided to take the RT with me. I loaded it with a forklift which was a bit of a process by myself, but got it done. I think there is a dock at my destination that I can offload it, but I think it may be a bit taller. So I decided to take off my ball hitch/rear splash fender since I am not taking the trailer. When I took of the 4 nuts and went to remove the bolts, only 2 (1 on each side) had enough room to come out. So I had to take a pair of bolt cutters and shorten them a tad to come the rest of the way out. I called my dealer, and he said it was shipped assembeled from the factory that way. He was going to send a note on to BRP. Anyway, the bolts should be inserted from the outside with the nuts inside. If anyone is going to install one, be sure to check this first. BTW the r side bolt hits the brake rotor and the l side hits the drive belt sprocket.

That looks like an easier way to go for sure. thanks. I think I will just take the mud flap off and just leave the hitch on. :2thumbs:
