• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Took our 2012 RT A&C to central Texas power sports to get the passenger armrests installeon bike with 1000 miles, this turned into thesecond time they didn't have the parts I'd orders and paid for,so they decide to do the garmin install with Bluetooth wire but they said it required additional five hours after the fact, that I'd have to come back in. Ok but the belt was loose should have been paid attention to at 600 mi service apparentlywasnt, then I get it home and the trunk won't open. Anybody know why that happens? Is there a fuse blown?and does anyone know a contact with BRP quality?:banghead::yikes::yikes:

When we picked up our 2011 RT it had a bad trunk switch and for the first 4 months or so I had to turn the key to the left to release the latch. My dealer was in contact with BRP on this issue and eventually the part came in and it was fixed in a short amount of time.
I hope this helps.

There are a number of possible reasons for the trunk malfunction. If the trunk does not work electrically (if so equipped) but works with the ignition switch, it may need adjustment and lubrication of the latch, or the microswitch may have a bent lever or have the connector installed wrong...or the trunk could be too full or the weather strip loose from the body. If it won't work with the ignition switch, it could be adjustment, lubrication, a cable that has come loose, or just a trunk that's too full. Try pushing on the trunklid while opening it. That usually takes two people. It it opens, and the trunk is not too full, have the latch lubricated and adjusted.
