• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trying to decide about Ultimate seat for my new 2014 Spyder RTS to be coming soon

I have the ultimate tall boy, with backrest . Ride 800 miles no discomfort ! The backrest just pulls up to rove it , if you have an oversize rider ): did not change backrest for passenger , they do have a thinner one of you require it. Also have fuel door , chrome , yes does get hot if left on sun , but goes away quickly once you start riding. Had mine two toned , tan and black with a Spyder logo on seat . Looks great !

I have the ultimate on my RT and Love the Support from the hump and the comfort of sitting in a seat- Not on one.

Only problem is the Post that latches to the lock got very loose and now just swivels around and will Not Lock the seat anymore.
So now I don,t have to unlock the seat- One less thing to worry about?

I am one of those that have been happy with the stock RTS seat on my 2010. It fits me well and I can ride all day without issues. Done it many times in the past 20,000 miles. In regards to the seat latching post, I removed mine so I don't have to fool with the key push and turn to raise the seat. Just get off and lift it. After all, the seat isn't going anywhere with me sitting on it and If needed I can gas up without shutting off the motor ( i don't do that often but I can if needed). Not worried about the seat locking down, there is nothing under there but a gas cap.
