There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Congrats on the second spyder. I hope to convince my wife that she needs her motorcycle endorsement. I'll get a second spyder when/if she does. I'll be getting a second RT instead of an RS because she takes up too much space when she packs for a trip. Her spyder will be full of her stuff and my spyder will be half full of her stuff and half full with my stuff. :yikes:

You almost hit the nail on the head, If your wife is like mine she will have nothing to do with the RT. She has had her RS for a year now and told me that she doesn't want to ride the RT. It is to big and slow.:roflblack: And like they said its two of everything. That goes for gas, oil, ect. We went from an average of $15 to $30 for a fill up. So when you plan your trips keep that in mind. Our fuel cost for the trip to spyderfest from Fl and back was about $800. :yikes: But it was worth every penny now that we ride two :spyder2::spyder: insted of 2up. Besides she won't ride two up any more.:banghead: The only thing I would suggest is buy the G4 head set, its good for a mile apart and you can use the bluetooth if she gets to far ahead of you:joke: Be safe and have fun

We're also a 2 Spyder family, the enjoyment factor has indeed doubled...Cindi didn't want to ride on the back and she grew up with 4 brothers rough housing and she's an aggressive driver...sooooo....She saw Linda's purple screaming meemie for sale on the forum and that was all it took...She's already told me that her upgrades take precedence seeing that I've beenin doing add on's and farkles for 2 years now...But for me...the best part is just going out riding with her...Now we have another strong bond between us...just never thought it'd be a Spyder.
