• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

started out as a two spyder ride with lightman02 when all of a sudden another spyder was spotted.(parked at a vegetable stand, no less!) heck if wasn't bill pitman. bill asked where we were going and I said no where, so he said, "that's where I was going, mind if I join ya?" hadn't driven five miles when we met another spyder. guy started waving and flipped around and joined us on the side of the road. conversation went the same way and we all headed off for a very nice sunday afternoon ride. what a friendly bunch of people we spyderlovers are! can't picture a Harley driver doing the same thing! (maybe i'm wrong)

And no Pictures?!?!?!

Sounds like a dream ride. We just returned from a day ride to Eliz City, NC. We only saw one other RT (Red) on our way home. We did the "Happy-to-see-another-Spyder" dance and wave...but that was it. Hope to get a ride scheduled with fellow Virginia Beach riders soon.

Great..!!

that must have been fun. We hardly see others and when we do they must have places to go so we solo on...:ohyea:

We went for a beautiful ride today as well with us being the only Spyder. My daughter and her boyfriend joined us with his Harley Chopper and my brother and his wife rode along on their Honda Goldwing Trike. I was leading the way with no particular destination in mind and rode about 80 miles on various back roads and ended up in a little town called Wampsville, NY, the real name of the town. I had heard of it before but had never been there 'til today. It is a nice little town and they had a huge 1000 car show going on and we saw some really beutiful classic, vintage cars, roadsters, sports cars etc. One car really caught my eye it was a '38 plymouth coupe with a rumble seat and it was gorgeous in a Pearl White bottom and a Burgundy top and it was flawless and just a really great car. The owner had done all the work on it himself and including the paint scheme. I didn't ask him but he must have been a premeire body man before his retiremant. There was a lot of very meticulous details and even raised rubber tread on the running board that were guilded in chrome and red trim. It really was about the most beautiful car I have ever seen, bar none. Alas, I did not have my camera with me.....curses on me for that!!!:banghead::mad:
