Velcro

I have placed self-adhesive Velcro in the trunk of my RT and have found that the adhesive substance is less than desirable. When it gets hot, it pulls away from the surface of the plastic.

I'm looking for two solutions:

1. What can I add to the Velcro I'm currently using to make it permanent?
2. What kind of Velcro should I get in the future that won't have this problem?

There is a heavy duty Velcro used for attaching Easy Pass to windshields Even sitting out in the blazing sun it won't come off.

For regular Velcro, Gorilla glue, but in the sewing /krafts section at WallyWorld, you can get Industrial Strength marine quality velcro that works better.

You can also get 3M mounting tape from most auto parts stores. Get the red/gray not the white, its industrial strength. It should hold your present velcro firmly and applies easily.
