• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration in rear end

Questions

New member
Developed a vibration in the rear end of my 2011 RT Limited at 17,000 miles on it and we are 1,500 miles from home. Belt does not seem to fit perfectly in the cogs anymore. Any suggestions?

Vibration

this does not sound good!
have you inspected the belt and drive wheels for any foreign objects lodged between the cogs?

I am sure there will be someone soon with much more technical information than I have who will help you.

That is going to be a problem....i am in Jackson WY. Does anyone know where the nearest dealer would be? That's why there r so many harleys...there's a dealer in almost every town!

Check carefully for small stones or globs of tar stuck in the sprocket or belt. Also check for belt tooth damage.
