• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How much wetting can an F3 take when it get's washed? Is there any place to be careful about or can I just suds it up and hose it off?

If things are going to leak this the time to find out when it is new and under warranty. Remember this same company makes a thing called a Sea-doo. I think it gets really wet sometimes.

One thing.....

It is best not to use a pressure washer. Hose with garden spray is best and spray in a downward motion. They are waterproof and designed to be in a rain storm.

It's probably not a bad idea to avoid spraying the handlebar switches ...

But they're set up for wet conditions, and should be okay anyway!

As a caution thing, I am careful about the switches and gauges. No pressure washer on any spyder parts.

I bucket wash with light mist from the hose and damp rag clean the gauges and switches.:yes:

That said, have to agree that rain & such should not affect the operation of the Spyder.
