• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: Well maintained 2021 Spyder RT Limited

I am selling my very well maintained 2021 Spyder RT Limited in Petro Blue. I have all the maintenance records since brand new. Brand new rear tire, less than 300 miles on it. Elka stage two shocks up front with 1000 miles on them. Lamonster anti sway bar (handles like it’s on rails). Lamonster belt tensioner. RLS cat delete with stock muffler (just the right amount of noise with a lot less heat!). Recent spark plug and trans filter changed (updated oil plugs from BajaRon that use a socket). This is a beautiful machine that’s in excellent running condition. It has the Trunk as well as the block off cover if you don't want to use the trunk. It’s a dream to ride. It has 36k miles on it with way more to go.

I am asking $15,500

Well maintained must go I need the room

Located in Wadsworth, Illinois.

Please make sure that you read and follow the directions in the READ FIRST! Sticky (especially the comments/warnings re new members making sales, & all the following posts in that thread) that's found at the top of this sub-forum index page and linked below:

paying particular heed to:
  • the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
  • if you add any pics (and you really should, if you want to sell!), the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a space between each image (having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your Ad's 1st post appear on the index page, which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting an extra pic or two in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks will satisfy the first point above ;));
  • do not discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
  • the need to properly finalise the Ad by marking it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything, don't want to sell any more, or just don't need the Ad any longer! ;)
Good Luck with your sale. (y)

Beautiful bike. Wish I was closer... I am considering my first trike after close to a million miles on two wheels. Located in NE TN.

What better way to buy & learn how to ride all in one go!! It's not even 1/2 way across the Country - Fly in, test ride, buy if suitable, ride home. You wouldn't be the first to make an adventure of doing that! (y)

Just another challenge, and most of your roads over there get cleared daily, don't they?? Heated gear, cleared roads, and a few days - what an adventure! ;)
It could be done as long as we didn’t get another foot of snow. Have had 12” twice already this winter

Headed to 9°F here tonight. I've never ridden a trike except a GW around the block years ago and thought it was terrible. There is a '15 RT SM6 for sale in my area with 37K for $15,500. I should have ridden it a couple days ago when it was about 60°F. No problem with cold (but not frigid) weather... I've ridden year-round for 50+ years...

Spyder is better.

We were just talking this morning about riding in the cold. It was 14° this morning and I suggested to them that if they would ride out with me I would buy breakfast. They know how stingy I am and still refused. My all time low for a longer ride was 29°, except for the hour that I was riding up Pike's Peak in late May. It was 23° and snowing. Didn't take me long to see what I wanted to see and head back down to better temps. But yes, for the right deal, I would fly in and ride out. As others have said, just make it part of the adventure.

My record cold ride is 14°F BELOW, on a '72 750 Honda that I put 83K miles on. My '70 model 240Z with side draft carbs did NOT like temps below about 20°F and would not start without help, and when started, I would still have to drive in first gear for several blocks before I could shift into 2nd. Ah, such fond memories!!
