• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is yourimpression of the fox shocks?

I only made a short run but taxing. They are working well but will know better tomorrow when we will ryde the mountains double up. I can power out of corners better so the yawl sensor is being quiet. It's feeling good may just need some tightening up...front end did drop but with the relocators I'm still 7" on the nose...

Good one..!!

Can you move the helmet light to your wife's helmet? Or will she be blinded by the light?

The magic of velcro...just switch it from one to the other. Besides she doesn't need to know what I'm doing..:roflblack: most of the time...

Took mine down the Blue Ridge Parkway and rode a bunch of the lesser known roads in the Smokies. (1200 miles in four days. not bad for a guy approaching 70, huh?) I found the ride a bit harsh at the factory settings, but out-of-corner roll is tremendously improved over stock. Not sure if I want to soften the ride and sacrifice cornering speed or not. That is still in the thinking process, but pretty far on the back burner.
Rear tire I mounted before leaving is very satisfactory so far. Ride is not harsh, traction is good, and rainwater dispersion is good; no issues of hydroplaning that I could tell. And still able to smoke it if I want. Here's hoping the Kendas on the front hold out until a twisty road trip in WV end of Sept.

:congrats:
Some History about this song: It took on a new meaning for Aerosmith after a fan tossed an M-80 backstage at the Philadelphia Spectrum. It went off right where the band was standing, and injured Joe Perry's hand... it could have ended his career! :yikes:
I was at the show... and I wasn't the guy who threw it... nojoke

Not sure..!!

What happened to the front sprocket ? Miles on it ? Sweet lights!

But suspect the bolt holding the sproket on the shaft failed. When I re-torqued it to the specified 92lbs it almost felt like it was stretching and was a bear to remove. It was under and after the next 200 mile ryde was loose again. Have 28,000 miles this is the first glitch....

Can I ask where you got the shocks and how much? I assume you got them local here?

Bob

Bought them on line on ebay but shipped from Mosites Motorsports. Cost was $376.00. They are out off PA. They are in a brp box and part numbers..#219400409 2013 rs st...heres the thing..I remember trying the kit (sway bar and fox shocks) from brp and the shocks were shorter and the swaybar bigger. Then they said it would not fit a 2012 so returned it all. These are the same length but the front end dropped an inch...will be ryding double today and see how they work. Solo quite well...
