• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are your Phone Holder Preferences? Brand/style & placement?

2020 F3-T Want to mount phone holder not blocking instrumentation, audio, wind shield. Any brand/style preferences?
Where (on handlebar I'm guessing) do you suggest placement?

I've been using a quad lock on the left handlebar just inside the button cluster. Can easily use phone in portrait or landscape mode and it's locked in securely.
USB cord to power my phone run from the "glovebox."
Overall this arrangement works well for me.

I had been using an Arkon RoadVise phone holder, but have switched to a QuadLock case and mount for my phone.
Like @Mandorallen my QuadLock is mounted next to the left hand grip.

I have been using the Quad Lock for a while now and just finished an 8 day 3400 mile ride with friends and the phone never moved. Excellent phone holder.

Do you have the Vibration Dampener for your Quad Lock?
My first ride using the Quad Lock, with the Quad Lock Vibration Dampener, had my phone vibrating a lot.

I use the Ram phone holder and the Ram mounting hardware. I use Ram RAM-B-149Z-A-PD4U to hold the phone and if I were building it today I would use an ATV/UTV strap base mount. Back in the day I used a

I have used the Lamonster Phone Phang, Tackform, RAM Quick Grip XL, and currently the Quad Lock with anti vibration dampener. I found the Tackform very convenient with excellent grip, much better than the Phone Phang. The RAM Quick Grip XL felt the most secure. After switching to an iPhone, I wanted something that offered vibration dampening, hence the Quad Lock. The Quad Lock is also very secure, and now I wouldn't use a mount without vibration dampening. Getting the Quad Lock pieces (phone specific case/vibration dampener/mount) is more expensive, but worth it. Some good deals can be found on ebay.

My phone resides in the trunk in a pocket organizer. It is Bluetooth paired to my Zumo 590 and I use the Zumo's phone app only when I have a need, extremely seldom, or opportunity to pull off the road. With all the buttholes on the road my safety is paramount and I decline to be distracted while rolling along.

So I still wasn't happy with the amount of vibration I was seeing for my iPhone with the QuadLock Vibration Dampener, so I removed it.
I still see my phone wiggle around on occasion on the Quad Lock mount with vibration dampener. I think the thought/idea is for the (3) silicone bags to absorb any vibrations before they get to the phone, where a solid mount might just take the jolts? Who knows...

It might have been where I mounted mine, which was right up against the left handgrip.
And my iPhone was really bouncing around while I was riding when the Vibration Dampener was still installed.

That is where I have my Quad Lock installed but not against the left handgrip. I have mine maybe an inch or so from the handgrip. Maybe your Kenda tires are to blame for the vibrations.
