• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What switch fits the extra rocker switch slot on 2024's?

I have seen a switch that fits in that spot in the past that would operate the garage opener but can't seem to locate it now. That is what I would do with my blank spot. Chris
I am using the handle bar mount for the garage door opener. When I plug my phone into the USB, it screws with my Bluetooth connection for audio to the speakers, so I would like another alternative to charge my phone while driving. A charge port on the console is the cleanest option. I’ve already run auxiliary power there, just need to find the right size USB port for that location, which apparently isn’t going to happen.

This SP ON-NONE-OFF 20A 12V Rocker Switch by Carling will fit:

Yup, if only there was a USB charger option that size. All I’ve found are 1.44” tall, so not even close.

I added a Nelson & Nelson docking station to my 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky that I bought from Slingmods. It connects to the aux power connection that's on the front right side of my Spyder next to the right front wheel. The installation directions showing where the power connector is are an Acrobat PDF link that is also on the page:

You don't have the model of your Spyder listed in your signature, so I don't know if your Spyder also has that power port.

I'm an Apple iPhone user, so when I plug my iPhone into the USB port on the glove box I also turn on the bluetooth headset in my helmet, so I can hear the GPS directions from Apple Carplay running on my Spyder's display in my helmet.

Mine is a 24 RTL. I’m wired into that auxiliary power connector already. I’ll have to look into the product you shared, but I really would like to keep a minimalistic profile and not have a bunch of stuff hanging off my bar. The auxiliary switch location would be perfect, since it’s already there. It’s frustrating no one has made a charger to fit. Then again, the wires are very small gauge so maybe they are designed to handle the power draw from an iPhone. IDK

As an idea, if you get a charge only cable or data blocking cable it should fix the issue with the bike messing with your bluetooth connection. Sorry, can't help with the USB for the Carling switch blank.
