• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. What type of screen is in your home theater room.

I'm running a Panasonic plasma.

Just curious what others are watching in their home theaters.

Plasma, LCD or projector?

A QVC special

An Olevia 42" LCD. Had it about 8 years and it has been a great TV, great picture and color. I was a little skeptical because I had never heard of Olevia before but have no complaints at all!!

120" electric drop down screen with projection and surround sound..:yes:
I wish, but mine I have to pull down 11' x 6' screen with epson HD Projection unless I'm watching by myself then 60" sharp aquarios HD behind the screen when down. Bose surround for both.

Panasonic THX certified Plasma, ISF calibrated (by me), it's a few years old but it's still going strong and gets rave reviews from everyone who watches it.
I'm a dyed in the wool Plasma bigot :ohyea:

SHOW OFF!!! ;)

47" LED in livingroom (awesome picture!). Two 32" LCDs, one the in bedroom and the other in the man-cave (SpyderSteve's guest room has no TV, eh!). Very old 12" P.O.S. in the home office...after all, I'm supposed to be "working" right? Hey, I'm not on-line when I'm supposed to be working...not like a certain "super-poster" who shall not be named, right Bob Denman?! :lecturef_smilie: :roflblack:

50" Pioneer Elite Kuro. The standard against all HDTVs were measured. Unfortunately they don't make them anymore.
 Screen size aside, Dick has the best panel display so far, bar none. A couple of others have stated they have a Pioneer so if they also have a KURO, well congratulations to them.

I wanted a KURO when I was looking at TVs for my theater room about 6 or 7 years ago but could not afford the $4000 plus price tag. So I got the next best thing in my Panasonic.

Today Panasonic has black levels that are as good if not better than the KURO's. But like the KURO they are not cheap.
