• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where can I source The Hollow Rear Axle for a 2022 F-3 Ltd?

As the thread title lays out, I’m looking for information and a solution. Through the generosity of a dear friend, I now own a trailer that can easily be transported by my '22 F-3. I need and am ready to install a BRP trailer hitch. I pulled the plastic axle caps and quickly discovered that my F-3 does not have a hollow rear axle. Only about one inch on each end has been bored. So, for today, so much for installing the hitch.
First, I’m asking the forum members if anyone else has come across this situation?
Second, if folks did not have a hollow rod shaft and wanted to install the hitch, were you successful in securing the necessary parts, in a timely manner, and were You satisfied with the outcome.

This was a common issue across the board for that time period due to supply chain issues. In order to get machines out the door, they were shipped with the axle that you have, and a proper replacement axle was later supplied at no cost to the owner. Unfortunately, that program expired in 2024. Obtaining the axle that you want is as simple as going to a dealer, or going on-line to one of the supply houses and ordering the axle. All the same price. Part number for the axle and nut is shown in the attached document. Who knows, if you take this to your local dealer, you might be able to sweet talk them into a deal. If you don't do your own work on the machine, then you'll want them to do it anyway, in order to properly check/set your belt alignment and tension when they are finished.

when the problem first came out of there not being the hollow axle I believe dealers would get you another axle that was hollow at no cost to many of the ones that needed it.My '22 RTL had a hollow axle on it but others like you had the solid axle. Check with your dealer and see what he can do for you. Maybe you can find a hollow axle online too.

You may also take the part number and hit Ebay, they have one in there! Some salvage company's post on ebay thru out the US! Good luck!
