• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was really wanting to know about AMSOIL oil what WT and I think there is a metric what's the different in the metric oil THANKS

5w-40 weight full synth.
Metric oil vs SAE oil : liters vs quarts? ;)
I think metric is for higher reving engines vs Vtwin 'loppers' but not sure.

Amsoil Metric fully synthetic oil 10W-40 is sold by Bajaron, a SL sponsor. That oil is easily capable of going the OEM prescribed oil change interval of 9,300 miles with minimal degradation of its chemical and lubricating properties.

Amsoil isn't widely distributed or sold at Auto parts stores .... ( I apologize if this has changed ) .... So how are you going to be sure they will use it ... ( even if you bring it to them ) ...???? .... good luck .... Mike

Amsoil Metric fully synthetic oil 10W-40 is sold by Bajaron......i Change my oil and filter ever January...regardless.....this Jan 2022 i am going to remove the frunk and clean the radiator fins..change out the anti freeze and throw in a new battery which i change out every two years regardless...bleed out the brakes as well..

I am using the 10W40 Metric Amsoil.

Me 2. You can get Amsoil through BajaRon or direct from Amsoil. Either way, the price is the same. Ron does not charge extra, he just forwards your order on to Amsoil. Ron is a good guy to deal with.

To make things super easy for you contact BajaRon.....he'll set you up with the correct oil

That’s exactly what I use and exactly where I buy it by the case with filters for my 2019 Ryker Rally with wonderful success. I’ve been using Amsoil for years in my Goldwing and Harley. IMHO, none better!
