Yes the Ryker is always in gear, but the clutch does not engage until 1800 RPM.
The bike idles at 850RPM.
I am not talking a big twist of the throttle.
Just gentle blip (about 1100 to 1400 RPM) and then roll it on.
I have been doing this for a while, and I can get really smooth starts with no clunk.
