• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Windy Ryde

Was able to ryde Tuesday and Wednesday but 50 - 60 mph winds are tough even on 3 wheels.

Cold tonight, back to sub freezing next week. I hope it gets better by March 3, 4 for my MRSTC.

I encountered high winds during my last ride to Whittier Fun Center two weeks ago-20-30 mph quartering to 90 deg crosswinds with gusts reported at 50 to 65 mph. I have been riding in the deserts for the past 45+ years and high winds still ain't fun. A couple of gusts hit me so hard I thought my helmet was going to twist off and take my head with it! About the only thing you can do is slow down and sometimes look for shelter. Of course I experienced vehicle shifting but Scoot3r was totally stable and controllable-love that Y-configuration. If I had been riding one of my earlier 2 wheelers I probably would have had to park it and ride out the storm.
