Update: November 2, 2016:
Federal Formosa AZ01 165-55-15" front tires for Spyders have very good grip on sharp corners, smoother riding (than EVO's).

See post#13 below. Jim

Update 2014 RTS SE6 Spyder tires:
Rear Yokohama S. Drive 205-55-15 tire 2,000 miles, awesome grip, handles corners like on a rail, minimum wear so far!!
(Yokohama rear tire will be a good replacement when F3 owners burn off stock tire tread).
Front Federal 165-55-15 tires 14,000 miles, corner grip good, firm ride, minimum wear.
Enjoy.
Jim

have you mounted it yet..... did it fit with no problems on your spyder ?

I have 2,000 miles on 205-55-15 Yokohama S. Drive rear tire on 2014 RTS; a great handling tire.
No problem fitting.
It rides better, more grip than Kumho or stock tire.
Front Federal tires are same size as stock RT/F3 tires (stated above, I have 14,000 miles on front tires).

The tires look great. Where did you order the front tires from, and how much did they cost?

Have you looked at the new AZ01 model? Just curious what you think? Newegg.com haas them. Thanks

hi everyone. Just installed s-drive tire listed here. Many here said this tire is awesome. Bad boy helped alot with helping me choosing this tire. He has one also. He also helped me install the tire. Anyhow, took the bike from West Palm Beach to Orlando and then to cocoa Beach. Tire handled great with two up and fully loaded with clothes and such. Tire did a great job managing a heavy loaded bike for the long ride. Did about 350 miles on the bike.

what tire pressure you guys using on your rear yokahma

Do you ride one up or 2 up and what tire pressure.
Thanks

Update 21 October 2016 front Federal AZ01 tires

Update 3 Nov 2016:
The new design front Federal Formoza AZ01 165-55-15" tires have a smoother ride, very good grip in corners rain or dry roads; 21# air, I used 10oz "Ride On" sealant/balancer each front tire.
I have over 4,500 miles on new front Federal AZ01 tires 2015 F3S SE6 "Touring mod" Spyder, very good grip/handling, smooth ride.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAB0Y48R8175

Rear Yokohama S.Drive 205-55-15" tire at 23# air has excellent grip/handling rain or dry roads, smooth ride, good wear (on my 2015 F3S, 15,500 miles).
A good combo front & rear for my 2015 F3S Spyder, or other Spyders.
Another car tire option for your Spyders.
Enjoy your rydes.
Jim

Been running 23PSI on my Federal Formoza.. SO far no complaints..It really likes the turns now..And they are a lot quieter than the stock tires

For you guys with "Yokes"...
How do they seem to be wearing?
It's easy to look at the specs for a tire... It can be tough to know how they translate to real-world usage.
The Yokohama Tires seem to have a lower rating for wear, than do Kendas or Generals...
What sort of mileage have you actually gotten out of them?

So far so good

My hats off to the guys at Ride-On as they really tried to help find a solution to the shimmy presented by the combo of Ride-On and Kendra fronts. I'm looking forward to adding Ride-On to the new tires the dealer put on for me as a warranty situation. Unfortunately they are Kendas again. I may upgrade to the Federal/Yoko combo sooner than later.

Thanks for the replies about tread life!
I've been looking at this size tire with an eye toward reducing the potential for hydroplaning. I wonder if by going to a 205 out back, and a pair of 155s up front: will it make any difference? :dontknow:
