That's a trick this old dog learned while traveling this last summer.

It's a very wet Saturday morning here in the desert. Light rain, 3 MPH breeze, 73 degrees, and 90% humidity. I took a smelly bag of garbage out this morning and the air outside felt like I was putting on a wet sweater. The high today will be a cloudy 83 degrees. Yesterday's car show saw cloudy but dry weather. It was a bit humid with not much breeze. We only had about 30% show up. The Camaro bunch (wusses) were a "no-show". Us hardy Mustangers were proudly there. Stay safe..... Jim

Wet, wet, wet, here in the desert. It's raining, hard at times. So far we've had 3.19 inches of rain today and more coming. Last night was stormy. The thunder and lightning woke me at 1:45 AM and continued for the next 3 hours. Then it let up (a little) but began again about 7 AM. Currently it's 66 degrees. Today's high will be 76 and the overnight low will be 68. Humidity is 98%. The rain is supposed to let up later this afternoon. Sure would be nice for things to quiet down so I can get a much-needed nap! Stay safe..... Jim

Monday morning here in Indiana. Looking forward to other sunshine day.
We are still short on rain here in my local area of the World.
My trees are dropping leaves every day now. Gives me something to do outdoors.
The yard is still very dry and brown. I haven't needed to cut it for some time.

The wet weather has moved on. Today here, in the desert, we have sunny skies, 80 degrees, 10 MPH wind with gusts to 18, a few lingering clouds left over from the last 4 or 5 days of rainy weather. Humidity is 45% and dropping. The constant wet weather for the last few days is unusual. When we have rain, it usually comes and goes pretty quickly, hardly ever lasting more than a day.There are many water retention areas scattered throughout the area. These are sunken areas usually about half the size of a football field and 4 or 5 feet deep that collect water runoff to prevent flooding. They were all pretty full up to yesterday, looking like a bunch of small lakes or big ponds. Today they're dry again, seeped into the huge underground aquafer that lays beneath the desert valley. That aquafer supplies a significant amount or water here in the valley. Stay safe..... Jim

Wednesday morning and it looks like we are going to have a good day.
A little bit of clouds in the sky at 55°F. Yesterday was a great day for me
and I had some Ryde Time. Currently cloudy and getting ready for the
'morning RT'. (RT = Ryde Time)

Today's high should be about 72°F with some clouds.
Low at 51°F. Still No Rain here in Indiana.

I love these temperatures. Ryde when you get the Time
and enjoy.

It has cooled down a lot here in the desert. Currently; 73 degrees, sunny but lots of scattered high clouds, humidity is 43%, 3 MPH breeze. Today's temperatures are 77/57 degrees. I completely shut down the energy eating monster that lives in my utility room. No need for either cooling or heating today. Stay safe..... Jim

I have been doing the same thing with my Cooling system for several weeks. Seems like the right thing to do. Definitely going to save some money.
Hoping for a very mild winter season.

A lot of Indiana Farmers have finished their beans. Now they are doing the corn. Market Prices are terrible. Several are saying that this was a
good season. But if you cannot make a profit why would you farm?
Seems like this is a real problem here in Indiana.

Perfect Fall weather here in the desert today. Currently 76 degrees, wind is calm, humidity is 36% and falling, sky is clear blue. The high today will get to 80 and the overnight low will be 57 degrees. The weather we're experiencing is why people endure hot summers for 4 months and why we see Snowbirds migrating from colder areas. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Indiana we are still short on rain. But the weather is cooling down and we are experiencing great Ryde Times.

Currently mostly clear sky at 47°F. I can see the bright quarter moon this morning. I tried to take a picture on my cellphone but it didn't turn out well. It looked more like a blob of light.

High today of 73°F with sunshine. Low at 57°F and cloudy.
My RT (Ryde Time) has been very good

Just checked the extended forecast for the desert and it looks great. Next 10 day's highs in the low 80s and overnight lows about 60 degrees. No rain expected. Absolutely perfect riding, touring weather. I had some car guys invite me to attend a couple other gatherings that happen weekly. Thursday morning breakfast, my regularly attended Friday afternoon show, and a Saturday evening get together. All within about 8 miles of home. Looks like this will be a busy winter! Life is good. Just plain terrible. I had a little problem with my truck and tried to get errrrr done. As always, what seems like a simple task was just too much.
But I did complete the job.
Thank You very much!

Yesterday's sunshine was nice and warm at 80°F.
Well I finally received some much needed rain showers. So that was a big help. We are still short overall on our rain here in Indiana.

Most of the Indiana Farmers have finished their beans and some have even finished their corn harvest. Still saying that the grain market is terrible.
It is a wait and see what happens. But the bills need to be paid.

Today's numbers are looking bad.
57°F with some rain showers this
morning and into the early afternoon.
Low of 36°F. A little chilly for me.

Monday morning weather news from Indiana. Yesterday rain showers were doable but we only received about 1/4". Every little bit of rain is welcomed.

Currently cloudy sky at 39°F. Yes, I have my Heat turned on to take the chill away. It's the sound of money going to the Gas company. They have raised the costs of getting Gas.

Today's high of 66°F with some sunshine .
Low at 46°F. No rain in our forecast.

No need for lighting up the furnace here in the desert. Currently 85 degrees, no clouds, wind calm, humidity at 25%. The numbers for today are 89°/59°. Heading to the pool this afternoon. In the next couple weeks, it will become overrun by the returning snowbirds and too crowded for my liking. Stay safe..... Jim

Here in Vermont it is currently raining hard (something we need real bad!) However, the amount of rain we are getting so far isn't even putting a dent in the drought that we currently are having. The current temp is 53 degrees.

On Tuesday, there will be some lingering rain showers and clouds through the early to mid morning, but conditions will gradually dry out and clear up with mostly sunny skies in the afternoon. The clear skies will be brief as clouds increase tomorrow evening ahead of our next chance for rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.

Tuesday AM temps will be in the mid to upper 40's. Afternoon temps in the 60's.

Wednesday will be partly sunny to mostly cloudy with shower chances increasing primarily through the late morning and into the afternoon.
Temps in the am will be in the low 40's and afternoon temps in the upper 50's and low 60's.

Thursday will be mostly to partly cloudy with showers likely through the afternoon. Temps in the morning in upper 30's to low 40's. Afternoon temps in the mid 50's.

Friday; mostly cloudy with a chance of daytime showers. Some of those showers could be snow showers in the mountains due to the return of chillier temps.

Morning temps in the upper 30's lows 40's. Afternoon temps in the upper 40's to low 50's.

Currently cloudy sky at 55°F. Yesterday was a little chilly for me. So no Spyder Ryde Time. The leaves are dropping off quickly now. Going to be a busy month for the clean up of my yard.

Welcome to Wednesday from Indiana.
Yesterday was a beautiful day with sunshine and lots of leaves on the ground. So I have started the annual task of getting the leaves cleaned up.
If you have done this fun job you know what I mean.

Currently 46°F. No Rain in my local area of the World. Seems like this cooler weather is here to stay.

High today of 53°F with clouds.
