• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Your Weather News @ October 2026 Edition

I must say that the trees are looking good with lots of color. This season, the turning of the leaves has been a lot different from the past years. Mainly because of summer drought conditions.

Currently it's 46°F and we have a light dusting of clouds. The moon is up there shining. No rain scheduled here for us.
Definitely going to be another great Spyder Ryde Day. I feel it in 'me bones' as they say. Enjoy your Ryde Time.

High today of 76°F with sunshine. 🌞 Low at 47°F and lots of blue sky.
Stay Healthy and Enjoy Life my friend.

Should be my last grass cut of this year. The leaves are dropping off quickly now. So I will have to deal with leaves for a few weeks.

Thanksgiving is only 4 weeks away. (y)

Welcome to another great sunshine day from Indiana. These last few days have been wonderful Spyder Ryde Times. Going to make it tuff to put my Spyder in winter storage but that's the way it goes. Currently clear sky and 56°F. Going to do early voting this afternoon as they are saying rain on Tuesday November 3rd here.

Today's high at 78°F with sunshine 🌞 Low of 46°F. No rain here in Indiana.
Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Day. (y)

Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends.

Today it's mostly sunny here in the desert. There's plenty of clouds but the sunshine prevails. Currently it's 74 degrees, Humidity at 34% and a 2 MPH breeze. The high today will be 86 which is about average for this time of year. BIG change coming tomorrow when the high will be nearly 20 degrees colder. And it will be wet! It's forecast to drop an inch of rain in a 24-hour period. That's a lot for us as we only have little more than 3 inches YTD. I'm prepared to hunker down and spend the weekend inside doing some domestic chores and watching a little football. Stay safe..... Jim

Last Friday of October 2026. The Months are flying by so quickly it's just not right. 😕
Oh well, that's Life. This has been a great Ryde week for me.
Currently, it's a little cloudy at 47°F. Got some Moon a-shining in the sky.

The battle of the leaves has begun. Rake, mow into mulch, and bag a few for recycling. Not really sure what happens with the bagged
Leaves any more. Then repeat this process. Oh, what fun a person can enjoy in my yard.

Today's numbers are 69°F and some sun. Low at 50°F and some clouds. Just the way these things seem to happen.
Stay Healthy and Enjoy your Ryde Times.

All is well here with the wife and me.
Till Next Time my Spyder Forum Friends. (y)

Heavy thunderstorms rolling through the valley this morning. They actually started early. Big booms woke me at 1:30AM. Then they quit for a few hours, but are back big-time now at 10:00AM. Currently, it's 66 degrees and it's not expected to get any warmer during this wet Friday. We do expect a little break from the rain tomorrow, but it's expected to return tomorrow night and continue all day Sunday.

No car show for me today. Instead, I will be cleaning (de-shelling) the 2.6 lbs. of cooked Dungeness crab waiting for me in the refrigerator. Back in my old boating days, for many years I crab fished in the Pacific NW. This last summer, while in Washington, I couldn't find any restaurant serving fresh Dungeness in spite of being in prime catch locations. One place told me it was just too expensive to be popular. Ironically, I'm able to get packaged, cooked Dungeness here in the middle of the desert at Costco. It's not quite as tasty as fresh caught, but it's close. Probably cooked, flash frozen, shipped, and packaged locally in 5 half crabs per pack. All things considered, not a bad deal at $16.99 per pound. And I do enjoy cracking and cleaning them. It's a good (and tasty) rainy day activity. Stay safe..... Jim
