• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just received my Spyderpops stainless steel Kott Grilles for my 2014 RT LTD. Instructions are ok but thought a YouTube video of them being installed would be even better. Went to YouTube and dang if there isn't any posted. Anyone know of any that I'm not finding or looking in the right place for.

The son says I'm a geezer too but I found it was a bit easier on the old bones when the front wheels were on my wheel ramps. Had it up there anyway to install the bump skid. It's really a very simple job and they're a great product.

Me too! I have a set ready to install, since before I put the :spyder2: to sleep for the winter. The thought of having to get down on the concrete floor of the garage and getting them just right has been causing me to hold off until that first 50 degree day or so.

Also will need help getting up off the floor. :roflblack::roflblack:

Bottom line though: they look great and I am going to have the spiffiest looking :ani29: of the two in the garage.

I have a set too going to ask my fellow spyder ryder that lives close by if I can use his lift.
My bones are a lot older than what the birth certificate says:D

Curious..!!

don't you just pull the panels..?? Then take them inside and do it on the kitchen table while watching some good movie or listening to some great tunes...:roflblack:

one thing i will tell you if you want to have problem free KOTT grills .............................. be sure to clean the area and then clean it again with alcohol and then use the adhesive enhancer .

(ok so it was more than one thing)

Been putting off getting mine done also. Keep forgetting to get the magnetic catch that I saw on another thread. That looked like a good idea

Magnetic catch??? :hun: these are stainless steel, magnets don't work on stainless steel.

(after i posted this, i went over to mine with a magnet to make sure i was right, i was.

do you just drive the spyder onto the ramps? or raise it and place the ramps underneath? where is the lift point?

Just drive it up the ramps.

Gotter Done

Decided to just getter done this morning. Attacked it and in an hour I had them all on. Looks good and wasn't too bad. Decided to get the Show Chrome Luggage Rack put on today too. Took about the same amount of time. Two projects done and many more to go.

There's a thread about this very thing. They explained it and had pictures. Sounds like it works. Anyway that's how I am going to do mine.
