• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear wheel centering

What is the way to make sure the rear wheel is centered exact. Nothing in the manual about dead center with frame alighnment . 2014 RT SE.............

You don't. Its aligned to the engine by adjusting the belt running position. When properly adjusted it will likely not be perfectly centered. There is no side to side adjustment nor need for one.

Tough one...

but as a reference, a bit hard to do, is measure both sides of the center axle bolt to center of the swingarm bolt. You can also measure center axle bolt to end of swingarm but then you will still have to line up the belt....I use these methods as a starting point when adjusting the belt for tracking and tension. If your ryde is laser aligned remember this will knock it off and if you notice a change in handling you may need a new alignment.

Ahh thanks chupaca. Just had new rear tyre installed and was wondering why it all felt wrong, especially in the twisters. Sounds like laser alignment needs re-doing, if I read your post correctly.

IMHO.....re-read Post #3. and go with that unless you have money coming out the WAZOOOO.....Mike :bbq:

Thanks guys. Belt looks further out than pre new tyre. Think I'll run it back to my good dealer, it's only 3 hours each way but we'll be going (almost) past on our way to the snowy mountains for a spyder muster weekend. At least I now know it's not me, it's the belt lol

Laser Alignement is the best and absolute way to align the rear wheel providing the operator doing the alignment knows what he is doing. Not all do.
