FOBO TPMS ???

I just installed the fobo tpms but noticed the sensor is less than 1/8 inches away from the rim.
There is only enough room for two large size zip ties. If I press on the sensor it will touch the rim.
Would this be an issue, would gravity make the sensor to hit the rim?

Not a problem

I've had mine for over 6 months now with no issues at all. If I were you I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy the ride and the FOBO's. Great product.hyea:

I have had mine installed for about 3 months with no problems, except they seem to register 3 to 4 PSI higher than with a manual gauge.
Any ideas why?

I am having the same issue. Checked my pressure before and it was 18,18 front 28 back, put the sensor on and was reporting higher so I let air out on all 3 tires. Wonder which one is more accurate.

If you only have one hand gauge, buy another. It is always preferable to have a back-up, and they are not that expensive.

Also, I prefer metal valve stems. They never break, rarely leak, and are best to support these types of TPMS sensors.

2 sets of Fobo's - Pleased with their performance

Got the first set for the wife and liked what they did, so got a set for my bike and have been pleased with them for over a year. They may read different from your gauge, (I thought they read a little less than my hand gauge, but they seem to agree well with each other when I switched them on tires to check. I would suspect that maybe the hand gauge is off. Never hurts to have a new gauge, although then you will always wonder which one is off.. I also worried about the stems flexing, but after 20,000 miles and no problems,,,ride more; worry less!

Go into the app on your phone and find in "settings" that there is a option for Enable/Disable gauge pressure. I believe disable resorts back to atmospheric pressure & compensates for temperature or something like that which will be different than your gauge readings.
I have a hand held gauge I checked against a calibrated dial gauge at work and it was within 1/4 psi of it. We have 3 on my F3 & 3 On the wife's RT and they all read correctly once I figured out I was on wrong setting in the app.

I wouldn't have thought there would be too much variation in atmospheric pressure in Florida though, 5legs.

I don't use FOBO as an absolute measure of pressure, but as a warning mechanism. I have found tyre pressures that suits me, and I use FOBO to ensure the tyres and shock remain around that pressure. This was very useful yesterday when I left the dealer after a service and the FOBO showed 29lbs in my rear tyre when I usually run 22lbs. They had checked the rear tyre and adjusted it to Kenda specs.
