• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How important is it for me to give the dealer 350$ for my first svc.? i can do the oil change and check fasteners myself?

Thanks Steve

I think of all the services, the first one is the most important. Also, shop around some dealers do it cheaper then others.

That's a bit steep, my dealer charged me $200.00. Shopping around is ok but my dealer knows I'm a loyal customer so he knows not to %^&* with me. My thoughts.

What I did on my first services was to do the oil change at home and then have the dealer check the rest. It is a good idea to have it hooked up to BUDS to be sure there aren't any updates needed.

I also have to pay the $300 $350 service cost for a oil change/filter/checkover. The only dealer in AK and the next nearest is over 1500 miles away.
