Yep, tried a quick follow up to a post about a week ago and was told I had to wait 60 seconds between posts. Why?

At 84,844 post, each taking Bob about a minute to type, and at least a minute between each one, then toss in time to eat bacon, that leaves Bob with ............no time to work!:shocked: :banghead:...![]()
I found that you can correct a post after you submit it rather quickly.

One way to slow down spammers too. No spam program is going to stay on this forum and wait a minute between posts when they can go to a less well run forum and dump a thousand spam messages a minute.Probably to prevent a denial of service attack. A DoS attack is where a source (one or many) flood a specific site with requests in an attempt to deny valid responses to others. By specifying a 60-second requirement between requests the receiving server always has enough time to do its normal responses.
One way to slow down spammers too.
