• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I'm going to put it in this weekend. Are there any tips or tricks I need to be aware of that aren't addressed in the instructions?

Thanks!

Probably not. Just set your valve stem at about 4 o'clock, unscrew the valve core, insert the right amount, clean out the insides of the valve stem with a q-tip or air, screw back the core, air up, recap, then go riding for about 5 miles...should all balance out and you're good to go. Congrats.

Got my yesterday and put it in today. Trying to get prepared for Gatlinburg. Leaving on the 19th....Looking forward to some BBQ :yes::yes:

It goes in easier if you warm it first.

I put mine in the microwave for about 30 sec.:yikes:
A pan of boiling water might be safer:D

As others have said, it's very easy. :2thumbs:

Just don't put more than the recommended amount in, as this could have the reverse effect and cause severe vibration.

The bottles I received were tough to see through. So, I took my time adding the ride-on in short doses, then let the goo settle so I could see how many ounces were left in the bottle, then added more until I hit the correct amount.

In hindsight, I wish I would have used another bottle, filled it with the correct amount, then completely emptied it into the tire. Next time ;)

I baked mine in the oven at 425 degrees for 45 minutes with some cream of mushroom soup. OH! WAIT!!! NOOO!!!! That was my chicken dinner tonight! Never mind. :gaah:

Seriously, the install is as easy as everyone here says and Latemarch's idea is probably a good idea. nojoke

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately, I will have to wait on this. It is going to rain all weekend and I only got one of the 2 bottles I ordered.

Spoke to George at Ride-On this morning. He was very helpful and is shipping my missing bottle today. Also, thanks for all the advice, especially the microwave and oven techniques. Can't wait to blow my house up!!
