I still have the original standard seat from my 2014 RTL, it has a place for the backrest. A friend of mine has a manual 2011 RTL , it does not have the place for a backrest. Will the 2014 RTL standard seat fit his 2011 RTL?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I believe that ALL RT seats from 2010 until 2019 will fit/interchange, but that's not going to continue to apply for the 2020 RT's :shocked:

:agree: and would like to further clarify. From 14 to 19 BRP added the option of a driver's backrest. The only part that changed was the ability for a bracket to be bolted onto the seat PAN. … When I was " venturing " I would buy " Utopia " backrests ( the upper part w/the pad ) … and then weld up the lower bracket from flat stock … they fit perfectly …. Upon request I could move the driver position forward or backward to suit the size/ comfort of the driver. ….. Mike
