I do not have any further information on RD.Looks like it is still sputtering along. Do you know what ever happened to the OP? It was fun hearing about their annual trip out West.

Been out for four years, and still got that internal clock on!! Good luck and happy retirement! The first day of my retirement today and I still woke up real early, I guess it's going to take a while for my body to recover from working nights for the last couple of years.
Worked nights most of my life. Been retired since 2005. I never went back to days fully. Now I am awake as much in the middle of the nights as the days. Never tried to change back to a specific time to do anything. If I can't sleep at night, I read the news or read a book. Got really good lights in the shop and I can work in there at night. Don't even attempt to sleep until I feel sleepy. Working nights was sometimes a choice for me. It is cooler at night and not so many people around trying to tell me what to do.The first day of my retirement today and I still woke up real early, I guess it's going to take a while for my body to recover from working nights for the last couple of years.

Invisible rope to the ski boat...Very interesting to say about the video.
What makes this type of craft move?

I do like that ^ answer, but given the lack of wake or disturbance in the water ahead of it and the angle of plane that it's on, I suspect that it's more likely a small, direct drive motor pushing it along; probably something in that dark mass which is just visible under the seat.Invisible rope to the ski boat...
I don't know what makes it go. Just made that up. I'm more familiar with wake boards around here. Whatever he is doing, the game patrol would give him a ticket and a fine to pay for not wearing a flotation vest.I do like that ^ answer, but given the lack of wake or disturbance in the water ahead of it and the angle of plane that it's on, I suspect that it's more likely a small, direct drive motor pushing it along; probably something in that dark mass which is just visible under the seat.
Back in my youth/ancient history, we used to make up all sorts of things like that for the various local ski shows - chairs on skis or surfboards that'd do impossible things; kids ride-on toy cars on skimmer boards that'd suddenly overtake the ski-boat that, until then, had apparently been towing them, and then it'd run rings around the boat or play 'chasey' as the boat tried to get the kids toy back onto the end of the tow rope; 'high-speed' paddle boards that'd seemingly move without the person on them actually doing any paddling - all novelty stuff to keep the viewing public entertained. But they hadta actually BE THERE to watch/see all of this fantastic stuff, none of this staying at home and watching it on a small screen waaay back then!![]()
I'm sorry I can't be more accurate &/or certain, but if I've got it right, we last saw her visit the Forum mid May, 2022 - so about 3 years ago; and I have a vague recollection that there were some recent health issues mentioned back then, somewhere in the family (hubby I think, not her, maybe??) but I'm truly not sure on that.Anybody know what happened to Redneck Diva? Haven't heard from her in quite a while.
