Just re-set all my clocks to the correct stupid time. Not a problem, just no real reason we should have to change the time twice a year. The time on the clocks is not any type of real time anyway and has no relationship of any actual correct time as observed in natural occurrences or events. The time on the clocks is just a standardization of clocks agreed upon by an International Committee in an attempt to keep all clocks and scheduled meetings, appointments, and records on the same time standard within the same time zone. If you want to know the correct time for natural events such as High or Low Tides, Sun Rise, Sun Set, Moon Events, or other natural occurrences, you have to figure in the correction from clock time to your exact position within the time zone. Clock time is not used for Vessel or Aircraft times for such things as navigation or position reports. It cannot be used for Astronomy calculations either. It is useless for anything except trying to coordinate stores to open and close or people to show up at appointments or work within the overall time zone they are presently occupying.

Updating the time...
So I just did the time check, and my computers, smart phone, and tablets all did their own thing and were correct.
I had to adjust the alarm clock in my bedroom, and the clocks on the microwave and the oven in my kitchen.
I also had to adjust the time on my Honda Ridgeline, and on my Spyder.
The Ridgeline was very easy, and the Spyder wasn't too bad:

Preferences >>> General settings >>> Date & Time

Then change the time zone by pressing the minus sign once to change the UTC.

Close, but you did not set the clock to UTC. UTC is Universal Coordinated Time, which is what time it is at the Prime Meridian in Greenwich, UK. All the rest of the world calculates their time by adding or subtracting time zones from that standard in one hour increments. What you put in was UTC - 6. That is for the correct time for the Central Time Zone of the USA during regular time. UTC minus 6 means 6 hour behind the Greenwich Mean Time. Eastern Standard Time is UTC -5 (etc. etc.)

As I said, although perhaps not clearly enough, was that I changed the UTC _OFFSET_ number on my Spyder to the correct one for the new Daylight Saving Time.

What I am trying to say is we did not go back to Daylight Saving Time. We've been on Daylight Saving Time all Summer. The time change that happens in the Fall puts us back to Standard time. If you are in Central Time Zone, then you changed to Central Standard Time on Nov 2. You are only on Daylight Saving Time in the Summer. You did put in the correct off-set from the Prime Meridian, but that is the one that changes back to standard time for Winter. Then next Spring, they will change it back to Daylight Saving Time again. Nobody is on Daylight Saving Time right now. The most recent change put the whole country back on Standard Time, which is where I hope they leave it, but there's not much chance of that.

For many years I lived out of the Continental United States where the time never changed to Daylight Saving Time in some countries, and did change in other countries. It is confusing enough to keep up with it all traveling through 4 or 5 time zones a day when there is no change to DST. Add that change in and it will drive you crazy trying to keep up with what Local time is. About half of the World does use Daylight Saving Time, the other half don't. It is a nightmare to file a travel voucher in local times when you have been flying all over the Pacific Area of Operations for a month. Our navigator would usually keep up with the times and RON cities or bases, then give the rest of the crew a copy of it. Not only the DST, but we also crossed the International Date Line regularly.

You will have to wait a few days for the Cat's clock to re-set. I have the same problem with the dog and some of the livestock. They didn't change their clocks so now they standing in the corral wanting to be feed before it is time.
