• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Probably a stupid idea - thinking I might go from a 2018 F3 Ltd to an RTL S2S - am I crazy and should just keep what I have?

Well, since we were in Phoenix today, we decided to visit Ridenow and check out an RT S2S. That settled it. We are not getting a new Spyder. Neither the wife nor I like the seating position on it. The wife said it was entirely too cramped on the passenger seat. Our F3 has a lot more room and allows both of us to adjust our butts every once in a while. So even if we wanted a new Spyder, that ain't gonna happen. And I saved a ton of money. LOL

I am surprized at that. I agree with keeping the F3L, but my wife feels like she had more room on our 2021 RTL than she had on the F3T with the passenger backrest. Maybe there is more room when using the top box that comes on the F3L over the F3T.

Top case is the same. But back a few years Spyder Pops had a kit that moved the top case back 3 inches. This gives her enough room to use her phone or iPad to read or whatever. Unfortunately it does fit the RTL or any of the new models with LinQ. And they no longer offer it.

If I were buying new, I would opt for an RT Limited. You get very little more on the S2S for the additional $$'s. You get a color that is unique to S2S, you get wheels that are unique to S2S, and I believe a seat that is also unique to S2S. Can't think of anything else. Not worth it to me and in most cases I like the colors available on the RT Limited better than the S2S colors. But, again, to each his own, and I choose an RT Limited over the F3.

Just a reminder - it looks like the OP here has made his decision - below is post #20 in the thread, the last post on the previous page, direct from the OP. ;)

Decided to keep what I got. It's paid for and it does everything I need it to do.

And then there's this, from this page:

Just Sayin' 😏

I think he's made up his mind, at least for now...
