Changed the oil, now stuck in Limp Mode, Code P0524! What's wrong??

Changed the oil, now I'm Stuck in Limp Mode and can't get out. What am I doing wrong?

What model and year would help. Either twin or triple engine has dry sump. Have you looked in manual as to procedure of how to do it? This is first thing to look at is oil level. Oil level alone will not send a code or limp mode. Anything else touched?

I agree with Woodaddict. An oil change should not create a Limp Home Mode unless there was no oil pressure. More information please...

The code said P0524 which I think is oil pressure, but the oil light went out and the Check Engine light is on. I disconnected the battery for 10 minutes, but that didn't help. It's a 2010 RTS

So, P0524 is, in fact, Low Oil Pressure. But the thing is, that the V-Ttwin has only one oil pressure switch. And it is literally a switch. It's either open or closed. Thus, it is contradictory that the Low Oil Pressure warning light would go out, and yet you would have a Low Oil Pressure Code. It all comes from the same place with the same wiring.

Because I'm a little dense, let's re-group. WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, your Low Oil Pressure warning light goes out. Correct? If so, that's a good sign. Not to panic. WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING then, and you call up the codes again, do you still have the P0524 code and the Check Engine Light? Double check that you're reading the code correctly.

WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, do you have a warning message on the LCD display - in big bold type - that says LIMP HOME?

Looking back over your previous posts, this would appear that this is not your first oil change that you've done yourself. Right? You're not new at this?

It is possible that the startup took too long to supply sufficient oil pressure, thus tripping the code. As long as you are using a 5/40 or 10/40 oil, you might want to try again. Assuming the system is now charged, pressure should come up quickly.

The engine light is on and blink in king and the limp mode is flashing once in a while on the bottom. Never had a problem with the two changes before
