I know this subject has been driven into the ground but, I just spent the better part of the day trying to locate any 225/50/R15's. The Toyo Extensa HP II and the Kumho ECSTA AST'S are no longer available. I thought I found an east coast vendor "Gun Hill Tire" but the last 6 they had were bought up by 1 person. Any other suggestions? Or are we stuck with the Kenda Kanine. I ride my F3-T rather aggressively.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

If your only consideration is the 225/50R15, then your options are extremely limited. Though I personally think the Kenda Kanine is a reasonable option unless longeviety is at the top of your list.
If you expand your size requirements a bit, the number of possibilities grow.

Trouble is the Kenda is not true to the nominal size. We sell and install Yokohama ADVAN 205/55R15 and they are exactly the same outside diameter as the oem Kenda and less than 1/8" narrower. You have to compare actual dimensions, not nominal size because like every other specification, junk chinese imports lie about the specs.

I have been run the General Altimax RT45 and RT43 that size and like to play in the twisties. They handle great along with Vredestien Quatrac up front.
