There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Free range chooks. To me that just means FREE chicken dinners.
Sshhh! You'll give 'em ideas about where all of those missing chooks have gone!!
I do try to spread the joy around tho, never 'missing' one from the same place twice a week. 
I've been telling them all that cos their chooks don't live in pens, it's the foxes that're taking them - despite the really biiig deal the Council made a couple of years ago, telling us all that their Fox Eradication Program had finally been successful and that now they were moving to a 'Keep the Council District Fox Free' program, with a whole lot of Hoo-ha made whenever a fox is seen in the District with daily updates on where it was last seen until it's 'caught'!!
We haven't actually had any 'wild fox' sightings or even hints that there might be one or more around the place in quite some months now... 
Mind you, it is getting a little hard to get rid of all the feathers tho, the garbage guy keeps on asking where they all come from?! He's a nice enough guy, but I think it's a good thing he's not a real 'bushie' too, cos so far, he's (apparently) believed me when I've told him the chooks shed all their feathers as they grow bigger, just like snakes shedding their skins, and I collect them all, keeping the good feathers for various projects and only throwing out the manky stuff!

Sounds like you need another new apex predator that has a taste for rabbits.
We’ve got some mountain lions, wolves or coyotes that might help with that.
Of course, you’ll have to lock up cats or small dogs, but other than that, what can possibly go wrong?

I'm (way to often) amused by the cries of a new resident about seeing a coyote (or two) in our community. They get on our residents FB page and warn everyone to be on the look-out. Usually they are just ignored. We have coyotes, rabbits, owls, hawks, doves, and people all living in pretty balanced harmony. I get my food from the supermarket, the animals get theirs from eating each other and/or munching on vegetation. It all works out.....

Nah, as I keep saying, we don't have any foxes left around here! And all the 'non-feral' cats hafta get kept inside or be shut in a pen overnight anyway; plus any dog roaming the streets at night gets impounded. So we just don't have foxes, cats, or dogs roaming the streets, especially at night; there's no foxes left anyway; and there are few predatory birds left around that can stand the sight of rabbits, let alone eat the diseased things we get here!
And all the local Tassie Devils, Thylacines, Hoop Snakes, Bunyips, and Drop Bears don't seem to be the least bit interested in the rabbits either! 
But our local Council came out the other day with a big announcement to the effect that it's "...the responsibility of each land owner to control rabbit infestations living and breeding on their property...", so a number of us have banded together to take action showing them and everyone else that the problem rabbits are breeding and living on LOCAL COUNCIL 'OWNED/CONTROLLED' LAND, so it's THEIR bleedin' responsibility!! The legal advice we've had so far suggests that there is precedence; and while it might take years, we juuust might be able to bring about some action sooner just thru the threat!
