• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

ST Longest Ride Ever

I picked up a used Corbin seat on my 2013 ST Limited. We ride all day with no problems 500 + miles many times. Not sure I could do it without the Hiway Pegs because I have to straighten my legs. We went on a 5 day trip this last summer and had over 500 miles each day. No problem. I'm 71 so maybe when I get older there may be a problem but certainly not now.

Both me and the wife have sheepskin covering our seats. Does make a difference in the summer, letting air circulate under your butt, and helps keep your butt cooler. In winter, it still helps your butt feel better.

Sheepskins are "da bomb." Had one on my two wheeled devices; moved it to the three wheeled. My used bike came with an "Ultimate" seat. Not the greatest, at least according to my hind end. The sheepskin makes it acceptable.
I'm not helped by my tight, arthritised (Just made up a word!) joints, especially hips. So my old, wild, ten-hours in the saddle (on occasion) (on said two-wheeled device), has become maybe 75 minutes before I have to stop, get off, stretch and do some more stretching.
Or do you mean days? Wife and 1 went 12 days on the Spyder, her first trip, ever. I had wired in heated gear for us both: socks, trouser- and top-liners, gloves, which was helpful in Montana's frost and did no harm to my marriage.

My new longest ride was 2 days ago. An hour and 20 minutes each way. 2 hours and 40 minutes. I don’t know how people ride for 4 plus hours, maybe back in my 30’s. lol
Anyhow, my ride was to go purchase a 2026 F3-S, it will be delivered in a couple days. Now to figure out how to sell my 2013 STS, just hit 38K miles, still like new. (y)

My longest ride was when I was 68 years old. 31 States in one ride from Maine to South Padre Island Texas and back a different way to Toronto. Went through nice weather to 90 plus in Texas to Tornado's and torrential rain. Best three weeks of riding.

So now that you are going to sell the STS, you don't need a seat for it. What about the new F3?
I am wondering how comfortable the seat is going to be on the F3. I have a Corbin seat on my STS and it is awesome..

My issue with ride longevity hasn’t always been about the seat. It’s once I get hot, I don’t feel like riding any further and/or my back hurting.
I’m not a spring chicken anymore😂

Back when I was riding Harley's and did several trips by myself I would put in 1000 mile days. With the Spyder I usually have Momma with me which says maybe 400 miles. I did do a couple of trips by myself back to Arkansas with the boys and our first day is 570
