A video from my March trip to the UP. My last ride of the year.

Time now to put the sleds to bed and wake up the Spyder.

Cool Vid MX !!!!!! Your camera pointed at you was great quality.. :thumbup: I haven't seen that much snow in two years. nojoke

Was that a Cat you couldn't catch ???????? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Great trails...Glad to see you were using your hand signals. Alawys irked me when another group wouldnt let me know how many were headed my way....I liked the back facing cam, when you clamped the throttle to the bars, the trees picked up a little speed..:thumbup:

Great video

Looks like you had a great time in the UP. Loved the video and the music you chose. :yes:Hey are you guys going to Spyderfest? I can't remember if I already asked you or not!:dontknow: Hope to see you guys again somewhere.:thumbup:

Gret video! looked like a great day and great trails. Made me envy you guys. We need to have snowmobile /ATV trails along side every road in the country so we can go all over right from the driveway.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. It's a lot of fun playing around with these videos. I love photography and this camera fits in with my other gear nicely. This was a video I was messing with at work on my mac. I had a longer one I was working on at home with stills and some night riding but Movie Maker crashed and I lost most of it.:gaah:I learned a valuable lesson (I already knew but don't always do), one should hit the save button every couple minutes.

No, it was a cat that wouldn't get out of my way.:roflblack:

hmmmm...
there appear to have been a few minor incremental improvements in the sleds since my '70 Boa rolled off the line.
Yes, just a few. The best one is the seat, man they sure have come along way with the foam technology.:roflblack::roflblack:

Actually I was looking in the mirror I have on my glove. It doesn't matter how fast I ride there is always somebody going faster. There was no oncoming sleds in any of the footage I used for this video. But for the record I do use hand signals, always.

I love those two songs also Jim. Always been a Neil Young fan and I first heard The Road to Hell in the Charlie Sheen movie "Above the Law" and have loved it ever since.
And yes, Connie and I plan on making Spyderfest. Looking forward to seeing you again.

The UP of Michigan is just a great place to ride. So much state forest land and seasonal roads that they use for sleds in the winter. Michigan in general is a nice place to snowmobile. The lower peninsula has some great trails also.

Since I don't know and have never ridden a sled, do they have any sort of brakes? I know it wouldn't be in front as they are skis. Or just letting off the throttle bring the sled to a stop?

The SeaDoo's have a brake of sorts now.
