I was out for a great ryde today with 12 Spyders
hyea:. When we finished the ryde, I stopped the engine to gas my Spyder. I got an engine overheat and limp home when I restarted it. :yikes: I let it cool some and the code went away. At the same time I got the overheat code, the rear brake would not unlock. A bunch of great folks from the ryde put their heads together and one discovered that if he put pressure on the lever the brake cable connects to on the rear wheel, it would release the brake. If I use the Parking Brake Switch, it locks again, but will not release unless I put pressure on the lever the brake cable connects to. I was able to ryde home (213 mile ryde today . . . great time) but the Parking Brake Switch still does not release the rear brake. Has anyone experienced this? Ideas?
